Tina Foxx- Wild Events Ltd
Tina has been working with Wild Events Ltd since 2003. Her work history prior to joining Wild Events Ltd was based in the service industry, from working at the corporate sales office of a hotel and resort company to working for a recruitment agency. The two factors that Tina's working life has always contained are people and excellent service. Her previous work experience was the perfect basis for the work that she does now with Wild Events Ltd in the team building industry.
Tina says that she never particularly planned a career in the events industry but fate had a part to play in what turned out to be the perfect training and background for the work she does now. "I have always enjoyed organising things for people from a very young age, even putting together birthday parties or holidays for friends and simple things like that. My enthusiasm for and enjoyment of working with people has been a great asset throughout my life, both personally and professionally. With the benefit of hindsight, I can now see that everything I have done up until this point has served a purpose in preparing me for my career in the team building events industry."
The challenge of putting together the perfect team building event for her clients, from start to finish is just the sort of thing that makes Tina love her job. "There is no greater feeling than the completion of a highly successful event, knowing that we have ticked all the boxes for the client and that they are thrilled with the results." Her hard work and dedication are applied to each and every event that she works on. From the initial enquiry straight through until the end of the event, Tina is always available for her clients.
At the initial enquiry, a careful questioning of the purpose of the event makes sure that the correct event is chosen for the client. There is also the venue finding service that is important to the success of an event. Wild Events works with a wide range of venues throughout the country and regularly source the perfect venue for their client, should this service be required. Tina often visits the venue with the client just to ensure that the client is happy with the setting for their event. Often too, she will attend the event itself where appropriate.
When asked where she sees herself in five or ten years time, Tina is quick to say that she will definitely still be in the team building activities industry. "For me, this really is the best arena for my skills. I will definitely be doing further courses though, to enhance the work that I already do." For example, Tina is currently completing a course in NLP Training. She says that she would like the opportunity to get more involved in the actual facilitation of events from time to time.
