A Stationery Career Is Not A Stationary Career!

This article features Keighley Bicknell, administrator for Office 365 Stationery. Office 365 is a division of Romsey Associates Ltd and is a stationery company with a wide range of FT100, Council, NHS Trusts and major corporations as clients. This diverse client base provides a great number of challenges to anyone involved in the day to day dealings with clients in a job such as Keighley's.

As she herself says, 'Every day presents new challenges, ensuring deliveries occur on time and to the right client site, managing the online orders, both manually and via the numerous automated systems in place in our organisation means that I have to be technically adroit and still maintain good interpersonnel skills.

Given that Keighley manages a product range of over 15,000 products ranging from Rubber Bands, through Flipchart Pads, Foot Stools and Foot Rests, Chalk Boards to Filing Cabinets and other major pieces of office furniture, it is hardly surprising that every day is different and challenging. To gain an understanding of such a product range takes years of industry experience.

Keighleys's aim is to become the main buyer for Office 365 and to extend her experience to cover the entire purchasing, product management, warehousing, sales and delivery cycle for the company. Quoting her words 'The internet is the new retail outlet for all products and no matter what your companies business area, these days you cannot afford to ignore it'
