False Eyelashes
Yes it was Hollywood where it all started - to make those eyes
look that little bit more special one of the make up artists thought
it would be a good idea to add false
eyelashes to the eyes of the stars.
This then started the trend and we have never looked back. The
eyes are a place of great beauty for the female and over the years
many items of make up have been made available to enhance the situation.
Mascara, coloured contact lenses and obviously false eyelashes have
all been options available.
The eyelashes are made of many different materials depending on
how much is being spent. The most popular ones amongst the more
affluent ladies are silk. These are soft and really comfortable
to wear and the great thing is they can be worn many times.
Some eyelashes need to be applied by a registered beautician but
for the ones you can do yourself its normal for the lashes to come
with a small tube of glue which is applied before each use. This
is smeared onto the back edge of the lash and then this is placed
in contact with the eyelid and held in place until the glue is set.
They will then remain in place for as long as is necessary (within
reason). To remove the lash a gentle pull normally does the trick.
If its working out that it’s a bit tough to remove them then
the addition of Vaseline to the eyelid is normally sufficient to
do the job. As long as you take care of them and remove any excess
glue from the eyelash you will find that you can use them time and
again.
There are many different styles now available and the choice is
quite exceptional.
We start of with lashes of varied lengths, in different thickness
of lash. These are then available in a choice of colours from blue
to red. We then have lashes that sweep from one side to another
again in different thickness and colours. Finally we have a range
of eyelashes that have either diamonds or sequences placed along
the lash, or a combination of both in all sorts of different style.
The choice is enormous so you will always fine just the one you
are looking for if you look hard enough.
